Program of Study
The MPH in Parks and Recreation provides the opportunity to earn an advanced degree within a two-year period by completing 44 credit hours of course work if taking courses full-time (4 courses per semester). Most students are part-time (2 courses per semester) and can complete the degree in 4 years. This is a non-thesis degree but does require a 3 credit field experience of practical application of public health principles under the supervision of a qualified preceptor.
